The cause of the imbalance between acid and alkalinity, simply put, is lifestyle.
On a pH scale 7 is neutral, below 7 is acid and above 7 is alkaline. The perfect balanced body will have a blood pH of 7.2 or slightly alkaline. The absolute key to achieving balance and well-being is in fact to consistently be implementing more alkalinity into your state of being.
To find out what your pH level is simple by testing your saliva and/or urine on "Litmus Paper” available in most drug and health food stores.
